The Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM) receives referrals for patients living with complex or difficult to treat immune disease. The Centre is a partnership between The Australian National University (ANU) and Canberra Health Services (CHS) and is based in Australia's national capital, Canberra. The CPM program is nationally at the forefront of developing and delivering personalised medicine for immune diseases.
Conventional treatment of immune disease assumes that the causes of these illnesses are similar for everyone. As a result, treatments can be ineffective with significant side effects. The CPM seeks to identify and understand the cellular and genetic basis of an individual's illness with the aim of developing personalised treatments. The CPM's unique combination of world-class facilities and scientific expertise in genetics, protein biology, immunology, and medicine makes it the only one of its kind in Australia.

At the CPM, we aim to develop the next generation of researchers leading the evolution of personalised medicine discovery. Our leadership team is dedicated to training research students in the latest technologies and scientific methods.
